Job Title: Supervisor
Reports To: Operations Manager
Job Summary: Supervision of Nutrition & Dining Services. Work collaboratively with all members of team to provide exceptional food and service to all patients, visitors, guests and employees, while meeting all regulatory requirements put forth by local, state and federal agencies.
Effectively provides Person Centered care and services
Job Responsibilities:
1* Staff supervision
2* Adherence to all local, state and federal safety and sanitation codes
3* Vendor management, including periodic review to ensure highest quality and value
4* Catering
5* Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable including End of Month, End of Year documentation and recordkeeping
6* Food cost analysis
7* Effective communication and demonstration of team-based management.
8 Subject Matter Expert (SME) using food service management software
9* Retail/cash handling
10 Is flexible in assuming other appropriate responsibilities, not noted above.
Requirements
Education - 2 year degree in Nutrition, Food Service Management, Business Administration or related field. Experience may be considered in lieu of education.
Experience - Minimum of 1 year of supervisor-level experience in food service, preferably in an acute care setting.
Licensure - None. RD, CDM, CFPP preferred.
Physical Requirements: Standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, pushing, pulling and reaching. May be exposed to areas of extreme heat or cold. Primary work location may include loud noises, wet and slippery conditions, exposure to sharp objects. A licensed ability to drive may be necessary.
